Juve 'rates' Cristiano: 29 million euros!

Corriere dello Sport explains the accounts that Vecchia Signora is doing so as not to lose money. They will ask for 29 million euros for Cristiano.

It is not even three years since Cristiano Ronaldo left Real Madrid for Juventus and it seems that the past is returning again. The latest information is that the Portuguese star wants to return to the white club, and that is why he would have started negotiations with the top of the Bernabéu. The main reason would be that the Italian club would only have accumulated blows in Europe. And it is that his great objective has always been to continue winning the Champions League, as he did repeatedly in Madrid.

There is news about this departure of Cristiano from Juventus. Corriere dello Sport explains the accounts that the Vecchia Signora is doing so as not to lose money, since in 2018 it disbursed 100 million for the one in Madeira. Now their intention is less substantial: they ask for 29 million euros for the signing of the Portuguese star. A fairly affordable price for various clubs in Europe. Cristiano, 36, ends his contract in 2022, therefore the option of taking him out of Turin this summer makes the operation cheaper.

The problem is another: its high profile. Juventus is currently disbursing € 64 million gross to the player, a salary that few clubs can sustain. Only Cristiano's salary represents a fifth of the global payroll of the Italian club.

Madrid's response

As soon as the idea of Cristiano's return to Madrid came up, the first thing that was sought was the reaction of the white club. Zidane, at a press conference, admitted the love they have for the former player. "Cristiano made history here, he is magnificent. You know how much we love him ... but he is a Juve player and we have to respect him," he declared.
