Jacobo González is back on the Island

The Madrilenian left behind a fracture of the nasal septum and another fracture of the fifth metatarsal of the left foot of which he was operated in Madrid.

Jacobo González begins to see the exit after so many months of injury. The Madrilenian has joined training these days, although he continues to do so in a different way. At least he was already able to travel to the island from Madrid, where at the end of last year he underwent surgery.

In the preseason he had suffered a nasal septum fracture and began the campaign with a protective mask and against Sabadell, at the beginning of December, he had a fracture of the fifth metatarsal in his left foot. He underwent surgery for both ailments, although with some complication in terms of time.

The second surgery that was done, on the nose, was a bit more complicated than it seemed at first and that is costing him more to recover. In addition, the doctor who supervised him in Madrid wanted to go with a little more caution and for this reason his return to Tenerife was delayed.

Fortunately, the attacker returned this past Wednesday to perform exercises on the green and begin to deduct the days for his reappearance, although surely we will have to wait a couple of weeks to see him again in call. Since he was injured, he has missed 15 official matches.

Jacobo arrived in the summer from Celta and was engaged for three seasons, but things have not gone as desired. His summary in the team is 12 games played, only four of them as a starter, and a goal against Malaga, the day of his debut in the team on the first day.
