Emma Norsgaard repeats second place at Le Samyn

Movistar's Danish came in behind Liv Racing's Belgian Lotte Kopecky. Trek Austrian Chloe Hosking was third.

The Belgian Lotte Kopecky (Liv Racing) was the winner of the Belgian race Le Samyn, disputed over 92.5 kilometers between the towns of Quaregnon and Dour, after a close sprint duel with the Danish Movistar team Emma Norsgaard.

Kopecky, national time trial champion on the road and with European and world titles on the track in her record, was the only one who could withstand the distant attack of Emma Norsgaard, at 21 years old, signing a good start to the season, since she was also second last Saturday at the Omlopp Het.

The 21-year-old Movistar rider attacked well in advance on a long sprint, and was overtaken by the Belgian winner 10 meters from the finish line. The third place went to the Australian Chloe Hosking (Trek-Segafredo) .
