El Molde, Granada's rival in the Europa League round of 16, is studying playing the second leg against the Spanish team in Hungary, because the harsh quarantine rules in Norway prevent him from doing so in his country.

The Norwegian team has been installed in Benidorm for weeks, where they did a preseason for the match in the previous round against German Hoffenheim, since the league in their country ended in December and is not resumed until April.

El Molde played the first leg of the round of 32 at the Estadio de la Cerámica in Villarreal, but now they are thinking of using a stadium from another country so that Granada does not play both games on Spanish territory.

"We want to have the advantage of forcing Granada to leave their home. We are playing to qualify for the quarter-finals, we don't want them to feel completely at home," Molde coach Erling Moe told Norwegian channel TV2.

Both Moe and the club's sports director, Ole Erik Stavrum, acknowledged to this channel that the strongest alternative is Hungary, where, for example, the Mönchengladbach-City of the Champions League was played last week. The first leg will be played in Los Cármenes on March 11 and, the second leg, on March 18, in a field to be determined, an issue that the Norwegian club expects to be resolved in the next few days.

El Molde could not use the Ceramic Stadium again, since Villarreal will play there on the 18th the second leg of their tie against Dinamo Kiev in the Europa League.
