Aubameyang promises to persuade Odegaard

The Arsenal captain joins the popular clamor that exists in London for the Real Madrid midfielder to sign for the Gunners after his loan.

Arsenal are starting to get nervous about Martin Odegaard's future at the London club. The Norwegian is performing very well under Mikel Arteta, who is giving him the confidence that Zidane did not give him at Real Madrid, and the team is delighted with him. But his loan ends on June 30, the date on which the 22-year-old midfielder must return to Madrid, as Arsenal failed to include a purchase option in the agreement and the club began to tremble at the possibility of let Odegaard go.

The player has clearly shown that he is comfortable at Arsenal and wants to stay with the Gunners. "We'll see what happens this summer," he said recently. But it's not enough. That Odegaard stays has become a matter of state for the club. So much so that Arsenal captain Aubameyang has promised to persuade the Norwegian. He did it on his Twitch channel, when answering a fan's question. "Can you tell Odegaard to sign?" He asked. To which Aubameyang replied, "Definitely, yes. I'll tell you!"

The voices to get Odegaard to stay at Arsenal have not stopped happening in recent days. Former players like Ian Wright bet on him: "Arsenal have to find a way to sign him. I don't know how it will happen but he is the one."

A Odegaard has struggled to get first-team opportunities at Real Madrid with Zinedine Zidane and has made no secret of the fact that he wants regular first-team football. Speaking about his future during the international break, Odegaard told VGTV: 'I have not thought about what will happen in the summer. The deal with Arsenal is until the end of the season. We'll see what happens. I have said things before that I continue to defend: stability and development are keywords ".

Odegaard has already revealed his priorities to the Norwegian television channel VGTV: to have the continuity that he did not have at Real Madrid with Zidane. In England they are aware that Real Madrid may demand more than 47 million euros for Odegaard, if it decides to sell it, but Arsenal are not the only interested club. So are Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund.
