Araújo is not broken

The Mexican central defender suffers an elongation in the right hamstring. Celta points out that the period of absence will depend on the evolution of the injury.

Araújo-is-not-broken

Medical tests have ruled out the worst case scenario for Néstor Araújo's injury, that of a break. Celta has reported this noon that the Mexican central defender suffers an elongation in the long portion of the biceps femoris of his right leg and that the evolution of this muscular setback will mark the period that he will be out. The Aztec has already started physiotherapy and gym treatment.

Araújo had not missed a single minute in the last fourteen LaLiga matches, until last Sunday he had to request the change in the second half against Valladolid. His participation this weekend in Huesca is practically ruled out and the question to be cleared lies in whether he will be able to reappear against Athletic or Real Madrid, the two games prior to the break at the end of March.

The presumed casualty of the Mexican international in El Alcoraz will be covered by Joseph Aidoo. The last ownership of the Ghanaian goes back to the disaster in the Celtic Cup against Ibiza (5-2), rival of Segunda B. Eduardo Coudet will not be able to count on Renato Tapia this day either, due to the accumulation of cards, with Fran Beltrán being the main favorite to act as a defensive pivot.
