Unicaja announces the signing of Malcolm Thomas

Unicaja reinforces its inner game with the signing of Malcolm Thomas, 33 years old and 2.06 in height, who can debut this Saturday against Estudiantes.

Unicaja has made official the agreement for Malcolm Thomas to play for the Malaga team until next June. Fotis Katsikaris already has the signing that he was openly asking for to reinforce the inner game. His contract was signed from the United States and he could debut next Saturday against Estudiantes.

It may not be the last move in Los Guindos as the exit of Volodymyr Gerun is pending. The Ukrainian, who has a proposal from the ACB, is outside the group dynamics and trains with the technicians alone.

Malcolm Thomas, born in Columbia (United States) on 11/8/1988, measures 2.06 meters and is a player with extensive experience. His last team in Europe was Bayern Munich and previously he was part of Fenerbahçe or Khimki among others. He is the player that the Greek coach needed to reinforce the inner game, one of the pending issues that the Malaga team has had so far this season and where he will help in the battle to ensure the fight for the playoff. Thomas will occupy, together with Abromaitis, extra-community position.
