Erling Haaland will be one of the most precious jewels on the next market. The appearance of the striker in European football has left many big clubs speechless who ruled out his incorporation when he played for Malmo or when he made the jump from Salzburg to Borussia Dortmund. This season, he will be one of those in charge of revolutionizing the summer. Chelsea, Manchester United or Barcelona follow his footsteps very closely. And of course, also Real Madrid, which is positioned as one of the favorites to sign it.

However, whoever wants to take it will not have it easy or cheap. According to the Daily Star, the forward has already made known to interested clubs the figures of his contract. Haaland wants a salary of 90 million euros gross spread over five years. It would be 18 per season that Madrid would have to pay, which would stay around 9 net. They are five million more than he is charging in Borussia, where he receives around four. Figures that Madrid would be willing to reach or even slightly exceed if they bid against other clubs.

As for the transfer, the white club will have to agree with Borussia Dortmund. The good relationship between the two can help facilitate the negotiation. In addition, the German team is not going through a good economic moment, so it could be willing to find a way out provided it is beneficial for both parties. As this newspaper reported, Haaland has a clause that is activated in 2022 and that obliges Dortmund to facilitate an exit in case the player wishes, but this condition could be brought forward a year. Currently, it has an estimated value of 110 million euros.
