The Real Madrid loses the 'pole' by the signing of David Alaba

According to 'Sport Bild', the Austrian and his surroundings would be willing to put aside the white club if a better offer comes from England. Barça, also on the prowl.

David Alaba's future remains unresolved. The only thing that, for now, seems clear is that the Bayern Munich defender will not reach an agreement with the Bundesliga champions and will wear another club's shirt from next season. However, as they take it for granted in Germany, Real Madrid no longer seems to be on pole to seize the services of one of the most coveted defenders on the market. What's more: according to the German newspaper Sport Bild, Alaba and his entourage would be willing to leave the white club aside if a better offer comes from England.

"The talks between Real Madrid and Alaba's agent, Pini Zahavi, are not in as advanced a state as was written in Spain," explains the media in its Wednesday edition. "Alaba's agent is currently waiting for new offers from England. Meanwhile, Alaba himself is considering putting aside his dream of playing in Spain in exchange for a better offer from England", underlines Sport Bild, who names Chelsea as the main competitor of the Premier by Alaba.

You are not the only one. Barcelona also joins the fight for the two-time European champion and, always according to Sport Bild, the chances that the Austrian defender ends up wearing the Blaugrana shirt are not at all slim. "Barcelona is still in the spotlight of Alaba's environment. The candidate for the club's presidency, Joan Laporta, is considered a trusted person of Pini Zahavi", details the German magazine, which concludes its article by explaining that Alaba would not see with bad eyes land at the Camp Nou.
