El Torino, the Italian Serie A club in which Paraguayan Antonio Sanabria is a member, did not train this Wednesday for the second day in a row due to an increase in its positive soccer players due to coronavirus, the Turin team reported in an official statement.

"El Torino communicates that the analysis of the PCR tests yesterday (for Tuesday) detected a further positive for coronavirus. Also this Wednesday, by order of the competent Local Sanitary Treasury, the team will not carry out any training session", read in the official team note

Davide Nicola's team did not give details about the names of the positive players, but it had already detected several cases of coronavirus infection in its squad this Tuesday. Among the positives is not Sanabria, signed in the last market session, from Real Betis, who recovered from this virus last week.

Torino is studying asking the Serie A League to postpone this Friday's league match against Sassuolo. In fact, the sanitary protocol of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) provides that each Serie A team has the right to request the postponement of a match once per season, only if it proves to have more than ten players positive for coronavirus.
