Second mixed title in Australia for Krejcikova and Ram

Czech Barbora Krejcikova and American Rajeev Ram, who already won in 2019, beat Australians Stosur and Ebden in the final.

Two years after lifting their first mixed doubles title in Melbourne, Barbora Krejcikova and Rajeev Ram triumphed again at the Australian Open and in the same specialty by beating Samantha Stosur and Matthew Ebden 6-1, 6- in the final. 4 in 59 minutes.

With great ease, the Czech and the American, sixth favorites in the draw, beat the Australians, who went far with the invitation that the tournament gave them. Krejcikova, runner-up in women's doubles alongside compatriot Katerina Siniakova, drew the thorn from the loss the day before against Aryna Sabalenka and Elise Mertens.

For Barbora it is his third title, since last year he also won the mixed race in Australia, playing a duet with Croatian Nikola Mektic. Ram, for his part, could do a double this year if he wins in the men's doubles with fifth-seed Joe Salisbury of Britain, the ninth-favorite Croatian Ivan Dodig and Filip Polasek of Slovakia (5:00, Eurosport).
