Hamilton asks for forgiveness

The British champion has shared his current situation with his followers on social media.

There was white smoke. The preseason soap opera is over and since last February 8, Lewis Hamilton returned to be a driver of the Mercedes Formula 1 team. On January 1 he was left without a valid contract and his negotiation took longer than expected, but the minimum agreement reached a little more than a month and a half before the start of the 2021 World Cup.

So the time off for the Briton is over, back to work. Despite the manifest superiority of the pairing he forms with his unbeatable Silver Arrow, Hamilton must get in tune to try to conquer his eighth world title, thus surpassing Michael Schumacher and rising in the history of F1 to a level never imagined by any other pilot.

That is why he has taken to his social networks to apologize to his 21.5 million followers on Instagram. The reason? Having paid little attention to them in recent times: “Hi guys. I'm sorry I've been away here for a while, I've been focused and preparing for next season. I feel fortunate to have had this time to reflect and prepare myself ”, justifies the eighth champion to his followers.

And by way of compensation, he promises to give everything for them and hopes to have them close soon: “I feel positive and excited about the season ahead, but I want you to know that I think of you and hope you are well. I miss you and I can't wait to see you again, if not in person at least online. But one thing is for sure: I will run with all my heart for you this year! " This is called making pineapple ...
