Diamanka suffers a quadriceps injury

The African midfielder has already started the recovery process and the time out will depend on his evolution.

Albacete prepares for the game against Leganés looking for a victory on Sunday to be able to leave the relegation zone. The La Mancha team will travel to Madrid with two confirmed casualties. And it is that Carlos Isaac who will be away from the pitch for several weeks has been joined by Pape Diamanka.

The African midfielder has undergone a series of image tests in order to determine the extent of the injury he suffered in the final moments of the match that Albacete played last Friday against Mallorca at the Carlos Belmonte.

According to the tests carried out, the La Mancha club medical staff has communicated that the player who has started his recovery process suffers an injury in the quadriceps of his right leg. The time of absence of the midfielder will depend on his evolution and the African player will be forced to be absent from group training for the next few weeks.

In this way, Alejandro Menéndez has Jean Jules and Eddy Silvestre as the main options for Sunday's clash in Butarque since Dani Torres has just arrived at the white club and still needs time to pick up his physical tone and be able to qualify for ownership.
