The Astana professional cycling team has required this Friday the help of a snow plow to leave the Parador Nacional del Teide, in Tenerife, whose road accesses are closed as a result of the snow that has fallen during the last hours. The Astana, made up of eleven people, arrived at the Parador Nacional del Teide on January 25 to prepare for the season with views, in addition to the classics, of the three great tours (Tour de France, Vuelta a España and Giro d'Italia), and it was scheduled to continue until next Sunday, has indicated the Cabildo de Tenerife.

In order to facilitate the safe exit of the cycling team from the Parador Nacional del Teide, two vehicles have also been used, one as a guide and the other at the end of the convoy, the insular director of Roads, Tomás Félix García, explained in a statement. The entrances to the Teide National Park will be closed until next Monday as a result of the snow
