Fernando Alonso stars in the campaign for Renault's E-Tech range, which groups together its hybrid and electric versions for street cars. It is a spot that highlights the contribution of Formula 1 to the Renault models that uses its brand new signing, the two-time Asturian champion. The ad will premiere next Sunday, February 21, with a tagline: "We work hard not just to make one man drive better, but to take everyone further."

The 39-year-old driver has already been the face of numerous Renault campaigns associated with safety and the Mégane in the past decade, during his tenure with the Enstone team that clinched two world titles. It will now be part of Alpine F1, that is the team's commercial name, to also enhance the visibility of the French sports car manufacturer, a sub-brand of Renault. The 2021 season begins on March 28 with the Bahrain GP.
