Judging by the images that Fernando Alonso shares on his social networks, the recovery of his fracture in the maxillary bone is going from strength to strength. The Asturian is already training, he has even got back on the bike on the roller with a triathlon handlebar. Just six days after leaving the hospital, after a mild intervention in the jaw that was followed by two days of absolute rest, the 39-year-old two-time champion resumed physical activity with apparent good sensations.

His presence in the preseason tests was never compromised, there is plenty of time for him to make up the rest week he had to face due to the traffic accident in Lugano, on Thursday 11 February, while he was training by bicycle. Official trainings will take place from March 12 to 14 in Bahrain, two weeks before the first grand prix of the year, also in Sakhir, on March 28.
