"Ferrari's 2021 starts here"

The team starts the engine of the SF21 and Binotto urges "to do better." Sainz's car will be presented on March 10, before the tests.

Mattia Binotto speaks to Maranello employees, most present remotely via digital technologies: "Our 2021 starts here." Ferrari started the SF21 engine for the first time this Friday at 9 in the morning, and it did so after a solemn speech by the Swiss engineer who calls for the sports lift of a team that needs to overcome: "We can expect many challenges on the road and we are convinced that we must do better. The car has improved in all areas in which development is allowed and we must work with awareness of where we are and where we want to go ".

The team also confirmed when the car to be driven by Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc will be officially presented: there will be an event on February 26, online, that will serve as an introduction to the season. But the car will not arrive until March 10, already in Bahrain, two days before the tests begin at the Sakhir circuit.
