The Jumbo has a trident for the Tour: Roglic-Dumoulin-Kruijswijk

The Dutch medium Wielerflits points out that, in the absence of an official announcement, this will be the trio of roosters that will take the team to the next Grande Boucle.

A trident to dominate them all. This is what the Jumbo-Visma intends to take to the next Tour de France. According to Wielerflits, in the absence of an official announcement, those chosen to command the team in this year's Grande Boucle are the Slovenian Primoz Roglic and the Dutch Tom Dumoulin and Steven Kruijswijk.

Kruijswijk, reports the same media, will be the only novelty in the lineup compared to 2020 together with his compatriot Mike Teunissen. From that team this time the New Zealander George Bennett, who will run the Giro and will be in the Olympic Games, and the Norwegian Amund Grondahl Jansen, who has gone to the BikeExchange, will be left out. The names of the eight chosen are expected to be made official this week, months before the race starts, as it happened last year.

Wielerflits assures that the team has already discussed the roadmap of the season and that the intention is to try with the trio as in the previous year, when a fall of Kruijswijk in the Dauphiné ruined the plans. All three riders reportedly gave their approval to the strategy, which will focus on neutralizing last year's surprising winner, Tadej Pogacar.
