"Cristiano is in decline, Lukaku is more decisive"

The historic former Inter and Juve player Roberto Boninsegna believes that the Belgian forward is more decisive at the moment than the Portuguese star.

Inter and Juventus will face next Sunday in one of the great duels of Serie A. The clash will also bring together two of the best players in the world: Cristiano and Lukaku. The Portuguese star enters the duel with 19 goals in 18 games played this season, while Lukaku has 17 goals in 22 games. Despite the fact that the Portuguese star's numbers are better than those of the Belgian, the legendary former Juve and Inter striker Roberto Boninsegna takes the side of the Inter player when choosing between one and the other.

"The only Inter player who put the Fiorentina defense in difficulties was Romelu Lukaku, who had just returned. Beautiful couple, Lukaku and Cristiano Ronaldo. As Inter Player, I think Lukaku is a more decisive player. Irreplaceable," he says Boninsegna before pointing out that "Cristiano Ronaldo was a great player, but he seems a bit decadent to me" .

These words from Boninsegna come just a few days after Cristiano has become the top scorer in football history. The Portuguese star achieved such honor last Sunday by equaling the record of 759 goals against Sassuolo achieved by Austro-Hungarian striker Josef Bican between the 30s and 40s.
