Four positive at the Estu: the game against Barça, postponed

The collegiate team will not play the match against Monbus Obradoiro next Thursday either. He has yet to play in this 2021.

The Barça-Movistar Estudiantes, corresponding to matchday 20 and which was to be played this Sunday at the Palau Blaugrana (18:00, #Vamos) is postponed due to the outbreak of coronavirus within the school team, which already has four positives: one detected on Friday and three more this Saturday after performing the backup tests. Likewise, the duel against Monbus Obradoiro, scheduled for Thursday, is suspended for the second time.

"The four affected are asymptomatic and in good health, and all the measures that dictate both the health protocol established by the health authorities and the internal club itself have been followed," the college group reported in a statement.Without debuting in this 2021

This is the second problem that the Estu has with COVID-19 so far this season. The first was Édgar Vicedo at the beginning of November and it was, as in this case, before the game against Barça.

With this postponement, the Estu adds its third consecutive match of Liga Endesa suspended, all of them in 2021 in which it has not yet debuted. First it was that of Monbus Obradoiro due to the cases of coronavirus in the Galician club and later, that of Casademont Zaragoza due to the storm Filomena, which prevented the Aragonese from moving to the capital of Spain. Their last league match was against Iberostar Tenerife, with a Canarian victory, at the end of December.
