The relative tranquility is over for Carlos Sainz, who is already in Maranello, at the Ferrari headquarters, his new team for Formula 1. After a few days of rest combined with the always present physical preparation, the Madrid native has traveled to Italy to dedicate the whole week to working on the preparation of the new season, even though its start was delayed with the suspension of the Australian GP.

Sainz already had a first contact with the Ferrari facilities last December, although then more courtesy than with other productive intentions. With the arrival of 2021, and the end of his commitment to McLaren, he is already a full-fledged driver of the 'Scuderia', as he himself celebrated on his social networks hours before traveling to Maranello: “We started preparing for the next season. Let's go Ferrari! ”

The presence of the Spanish in Italy will already be a constant in the coming weeks, until it is permanently installed during the season near the F1 factory. He wants to follow the development of the new car in detail, begin to get to know better the human team that will accompany him in this exciting challenge and contribute as much as possible with his already considerable experience in the great prizes.

In addition, as AS announced, before the end of January he will get on a red car for the first time. It will be at the circuit owned by the team in Fiorano and with a car from 2018, a private test (of the little that the regulations allow) that will help you discover and enjoy the first sensations behind the wheel of legendary machines. The best is yet to come, but surely Sainz is eager to get down to business. The adventure has begun.
