Mercedes finds another positive and brings reinforcements from Brackley

In total there are two cases and one inconclusive plus four people separated by close contact. Six relays arrive to replace them.


Mercedes has tested all the members of its team present at the Nurburgring and has found a second positive for coronavirus plus another inconclusive case, as confirmed by a spokesperson for the team. They are following the FIA protocols and have removed four people from work this weekend, it is understood that their close contact with confirmed cases. Therefore, six people have traveled from the Brackley factory, in the United Kingdom, to replace all those affected in their work. The team will not report on the positions of each of them or in which department the cases have occurred.

On Wednesday, a member of Mercedes tested positive at the Nurburgring and the FIA implemented the measures indicated in its protocol with the collaboration of the German manufacturer.
