Arsenal fans now doubt Thomas

The former rojiblanco was criticized for his bad play with his team, one week after his premiere in the Premier with Mikel Arteta's team against Guardiola's City.

Life does not seem to be better for Thomas Partey away from Atlético de Madrid. At least, it is not at the moment. His signing 'in extremis' by Arsenal, upon payment of his clause (50 million) has raised high expectations among the Gunners, who yesterday were disappointed after the poor performance of the midfielder with their selection, Ghana. Thus, Thomas faces his first criticisms already as a gunner. "The little Arsenal player played and it was terrifying. Don't argue with me. I watched the whole game," said a follower.

Not a week ago his signing materialized when Thomas had to leave to play with Ghana the game that faced him yesterday against Mali, with the balance of defeat and a barrage of criticism for the ex-rojiblanco for his bad play in the friendly held in Turkey.

The Sun echoes the numerous criticisms that Thomas received on Social Networks, in which he was accused of not being focused on his adaptation to his new club. "Ghana is nowhere near the 2010 World Cup levels, I think Partey should move away from them and be exclusively committed to Arsenal," read another of the tweets. "The Ghana coach is poor, tactically he is not given Partey as a 10, he is a 6", reproached another follower.

While Thomas digests the first criticisms, the midfielder must adapt against the clock to his new life at Arsenal and London. Next Saturday Mikel Arteta's team will travel to Manchester to face Guardiola's Manchester City in Thomas's first match with the London team.
