Wijnaldum, at bargain prices

Liverpool would have already told Barcelona the amount to pay for the Dutch footballer, much to the liking of Ronald Koeman.

Barcelona already knows the price of Giorgino Wijnaldum. The Dutch midfielder is in the club's orbit for Ronald Koeman's new project, and according to the English press, it has a price that makes him very appealing.

The Daily Mail assures that Liverpool will ask only 17 million euros for the 29-year-old off-road midfielder (he will turn 30 in November), a figure undoubtedly marked by the crisis caused by the pandemic, and much lower than the player's market value , about 40 million according to the specialized website Transfermarkt.

Wijnaldum joined Liverpool in 2016 from Newcastle United. Since then he has been one of the important players in this little 'golden age' of the club, in which the Premier and the Champions League have been conquered again. Last season he played a total of 48 games, starting 41 of them, a good example of the importance of the footballer for Jurgen Klopp.

That is why the low price of the player is even more surprising, taking into account that he is known to all that he is a player widely used by Koeman as a coach. In fact, during his time at the helm of the 'oranje', Wijnaldum only missed two friendlies, being a starter in the rest of the games.
