Upamecano will debut as a starter with France

The Leipzig center-back will be the main novelty against Sweden in a France that will play with three centers and in which Rabiot will return to a starting position.

The French team debuts tomorrow at 8:45 p.m. against Sweden in the Nations League with many uncertainties. The positive of Mandanda within the concentration has set off alarms for the French team, which tomorrow faces a litmus test against a very solid rival. Didier Deschamps could introduce several novelties, one of them Dayot Upamecano.

The RB Leipzig center-back, summoned for the first time with "Les Bleus", could make his debut as a starter in the back row. France could come out with an unprecedented three-center system in which Upamecano would play in the middle, as is usual in Germany and escorted by Varane on the right and Kimpembe on the left.

Another of the novelties of the eleven of France would be that of Adrien Rabiot. In recent days, the Juventus midfielder has captured all eyes when returning to a call-up of the French team after the controversy he starred in with Deschamps in 2018, refusing to go to train with the reserve list for the World Cup in Russia and not returning since then to be summoned. For the French coach, the encounter is forgotten and proof of this is that he could start tomorrow with Kanté in midfield.
