The hard fall of Madrazo: "Today we had to experience the worst of cycling"

The Burgos-BH rider shared on his social networks a photo of the injuries he suffered after a fall in the first stage of the Settimana Internazionale Coppi e Bartali.

Ángel Madrazo lived this Tuesday the other side of cycling: that of the falls. The Cantabrian cyclist from Burgos-BH suffered a hard fall this Tuesday during the dispute of the first sector of the first stage of the Settimana Internazionale Coppi e Bartali.

Madrazo himself wanted to show the injuries suffered and relate how the accident he had in the Italian event happened. "Today I had to experience the worst of cycling, the falls. A puncture in my front wheel when I was almost braking and someone hit me from behind. I hope and wish a speedy recovery to all those who fell. All I have to do is smile and fight in bad times. Good luck to my colleagues from Burgos-BH ".

From the team they pointed out that, despite the cumbersomeness of the photo uploaded by Madrazo, the runner "is fine and in principle any type of more serious injury is ruled out." Now, Madrazo will seek to recover as soon as possible to face new challenges this season such as the possibility of reissuing a cover victory in the Vuelta a España like the one he achieved last year at the top of Javalambre.
