The FEB postpones 2 matches of the first day due to 3 positives

They are Al Qázares-Araski and Campus Promete-Quesos El Pastor, which were to be played in Cáceres and Logroño this Friday (8:45 pm) at the start of the Endesa Women's League.

The 2020-21 season of the Endesa Women's League begins this weekend, but it will already do so with setbacks due to the pandemic. The Spanish Basketball Federation announced this Thursday that two matches were postponed due to "the heterogeneity of results in the medical tests carried out on the teams, following the sanitary procedures of the FEB's own protocol and adapted to that approved by the CSD." The parties in question are Alter Enersun Al Qázares-Kutxabank Araski and Campus Promete-Quesos El Pastor. Both matches were to be played on Friday night (20:45),

El Zamarat (Quesos El Pastor) announced on Wednesday that a player had tested positive in PCR tests that the squad underwent last Monday. The team suspended training, isolated the player and performed new PCRs on the entire squad. The club has not communicated more infections. In the case of the Araski, which had to travel to Cáceres, in Tuesday's tests two positives were diagnosed. The members of the Vitoria team are isolated in their homes waiting to know the results of the new tests.

Euskal Kopa's 3rd and 4th place were suspended ten days ago because an Araski player had had close contact with a positive. The team underwent PCRs, but no contagion was discovered.
