San Pablo Burgos crushes an unknown Gran Canaria

The Castilian team dominated the match against the Canaries placidly from the second quarter. Fabulous game by Dejan Kravic: 20 points.

The Hereda San Pablo Burgos achieved a resounding victory this Friday, 92-60, against an unrecognizable Herbalife Gran Canaria, especially in the first three quarters, in which they only added 34 points. Highlighted the role of Dejan Kravic, who despaired the inside players of the yellow team.

The combination between Alex Renfroe and Dejan Kravic worked perfectly at the start of the game, with six consecutive pivot points making it 6-2 on the scoreboard.

The local team was much better offensively, but the lack of success punished Joan Peñarroya's men during the first quarter, who based their game on the inside success, because the outside shot was resisting.

On the part of Herbalife Gran Canaria, the game was stuck, neither Andrew Albicy nor Frankie Ferrari later found how to get the ball to the basket and the Burgos team opened a gap on the scoreboard (14-6) .

Only the success of Matt Costello brought the Canarian team closer on the scoreboard, in a poor first quarter of scoring by both teams (16-11) .

Herbalife closed the gap on the scoreboard thanks to Ferrari's success, but Thad McFadden threw the team on his back to put the 24-14 on the light. Those of Porfi Fisac could not find their game.

Javi Beirán tried from the three-point line (26-19), but an 11-0 run with a Kravic who couldn't stop the visitors put a difference on the scoreboard that left things very expensive for the Burgos team (37-19) .

The Burgos defense drowned those of Fisac, who could hardly see a hoop, while San Pablo continued to be sweet in attack, with Salvo and Rivero closing the second quarter with 42-21.

Little changed the dynamics after passing through the dressing room. Renfroe opened the scoring with a triple answered by Matt Costello (45-24), but the North American's success was of little use as San Pablo was embroidering the game in attack and defense.

With another 7-0 run, the lead reached 29 points and again with Kravic as the star of the match (56-31) .

Peñarroya gave rest to the interior, giving Goran Huskic a chance, while Fisac tried with all his players to find an offensive reference, but all were missing.

Again, San Pablo made another 12-0 run to close the quarter with a triple by Stan Okoye that made the 14th point of a Herbalife that had nothing to do with the previous day (68-34) .

The last quarter was a mere procedure for the Burgos with the tranquility of a wide advantage on the scoreboard.

The defense dropped in intensity, although Ken Horton was still in the line of the previous quarters, accompanied by McFadden.

A small arreón by Gran Canaria from 0-7 reduced the distance to 30 points (77-47), although three triples in a row from Hereda San Pablo led to a +39 for Peñarroya (86-47) .

Willey, with 12 points in the fourth quarter, was the highlight of a Herbalife Gran Canaria who made a match to forget.
