Márquez, on two wheels again

The champion has started his physical training before returning to MotoGP. If on Monday he started running on foot, he has already ridden a bicycle today

Now without haste ... but without pauses. Far from the initial precipitation, Marc Márquez is burning stages in the process of recovering from the fracture in the right humerus that he suffered at the Jerez circuit at the start of the MotoGP World Championship and its subsequent consequences.

Giving up the season and knowing that he will only compete again when his conditions are right, the man from Lleida has started his physical preparation with short training sessions. If on Monday he advanced that he had already run on foot again, today he has shown images in which he is seen again on two wheels ... although without a motor.

His social networks have served to publish two photos, it seems that they were taken by a fellow traveler, on a Specialized road bike. In seemingly as enviable form as ever, without an extra gram, the eight-time world champion wears massive protection for the injured area. It is a piece of fiber that goes from the shoulder to the elbow of the right arm and is fastened with ribbons that surround the back and chest.

The images are accompanied by a short text that reflects a moderate optimism of the ilerdense. "Another little step, an hour of cycling," he says next to the smileys of a bicycle and a smiling face. The obvious thing is that the oldest of the Márquez family is willing to respect the deadlines necessary for his recovery, but without wasting a minute of his time or effort to maintain the physical form required of a MotoGP rider. His return is a little closer every day ...
