The Malaga golfer won the Sanford International of the veterans circuit with a score of 196 strokes, 14 under par, and added his second title in 2020.

Miguel Ángel Jiménez from Malaga won his tenth title -second of 2020- on the veterans circuit (PGA Tour Champions) this Sunday by winning the Sanford International, played at the Minnehaha Country Club in Sioux Falls, South Dakota (United States).

The 56-year-old from Malaga won the tournament with 196 total strokes (14 under par), one less than the American Steve Flesch and two more than the German Bernhard Langer and the American Steve Stricker.

Jiménez signed three rounds of 65 (-5), 66 (-4) and 65 (-5) impacts. On the last day he handed over a card with an eagle (hole 12) and three birdies (4, 9 and 16) if he missed any.

Among his ten veteran tour titles, two stand out: the Regions Tradition and the 2018 British Open. This year he had already won the Mitsubishi Electric Championship at Hualalai in January.
