Israeli soccer star Eran Zahavi was arrested this Friday after organizing a party at his home located in the luxurious Savyon neighborhood, Tel Aviv (Israel). The police went to the home of the soccer player who plays for Guangzhou R&F of the China Super League alerted by neighbors who complained of "significant noise", according to The Times of Israel.

The player refused to cooperate with the officials due to the demand to cease the event. After uttering various insults and closing the door on them, the Israeli striker was intercepted by the police and handcuffed for his attitude.

In a video of the scene, Zahavi can be seen telling the police not to touch him and shouting "four policemen for noise between 2 and 4 in the morning. Are there no rapists in the world?"

Zahavi's lawyer accused the police of attacking him disproportionately and using extreme reduction techniques: “This is a ruling by the police. If my client was not famous, the incident would have ended in 5 minutes, "he told Channel 12 of the country.

The party, apparently held outdoors by their pool, did not appear to violate coronavirus restrictions.
