Fuenla goes green and launches sponsor: Urbas

The Madrid team has reached an agreement for three seasons with the real estate company and will officially be called Urbas Fuenlabrada.

Basketball Fuenlabrada of the Endesa League will become Urbas Fuenlabrada for the next three seasons, in which it will change the red that it had used in recent seasons as its main kit for green in its first uniform.

The club has announced the agreement with a video with the Brazilian forward Leo Meindl as the protagonist in which he shows the new kit, green with dark details and the logo of his new sponsor in white.

The main green kit will mean a new change for a club that already used this color in its first years in the ACB League in the 90s, and that also used blue, orange and red as main colors, depending on their sponsors.

The agreement with the real estate company Urbas is for the next three seasons, as EFE learned, and the rest of the kits will have black as the predominant color in the second uniform and white as the protagonist of the third.

For the design of the kit last season, the club launched a drawing contest of its fans that was paralyzed by the coronavirus pandemic, but the new clothing has been designed using as a basis one of the designs submitted to the contest, sources explained to EFE from the club.
