Froome and Thomas change the Tour of the Tirreno-Adriatico

The British team announced this Thursday their team for the next Tirreno-Adriatico, which will be led by Froome and Thomas together with Rohan Dennis.

After being left out of the Ineos team for the Tour de France, Chris Froome and Geraint Thomas already have a new date to wear a number in the colors of the Ineos-Grenadiers, the first time they will wear the new jersey in competition.

Froome and Thomas have been included in the list of seven Ineos riders for the Tirreno-Adriatico, which will be held from 7 to 14 September on the roads of Italy and which will serve Thomas as a demanding test to face the Giro d'Italia ( 3-25 October), while Froome will use it to shoot before the Vuelta a España (20 October - 8 November). In addition to Froome and Thomas, Ineos-Grenadiers will bring a powerful block to the 'Race of the Two Seas', as they will be joined by Rohan Dennis, Eddie Dunbar, Tao Geoghegan Hart and Italians Filippo Ganna and Salvatore Puccio. The summit of Sassotetto is presented as the great challenge for Froome and Thomas to achieve the champion's trident after the exodus they have experienced this year in the Tour de France.
