Cologne will repeat as the venue for the Euroleague Final Four in 2021

This year's edition could not be played and the Euroleague has decided to keep the same venue for when the 2020/21 season is decided.


Cologne has once again been chosen by the Euroleague for the Final Four dispute. On this occasion, for the 2020/21 season that will begin soon. It is the same headquarters as that of 2019/20, which could not be carried out due to the cancellation of the campaign as a result of the coronavirus pandemic that paralyzed Europe.

What will be the first Final Four of the Euroleague to be played in Cologne, the fourth largest city in the country, will take place from May 28 to 30, 2021, at the Lanxess Arena, with capacity for more than 18,000 spectators and that has hosted the last ten Final Four of the Handball Champions League League.

Cologne thus joins Berlin, which organized it in 2009 and 2016, as German cities to host a final phase of the Euroleague; It is also the fourth to host said event without having a club in said competition.
