Asensio is already on the grass

For the first time since his injury, he has put on his boots to work individually. Odegaard stayed in the gym as a precaution with Bale and Hazard, who still don't come out.

Thirteen days have passed since Asensio had to leave the National Team concentration camp due to discomfort in the left kneecap. The medical tests set off alarms, but as the days went by, everything reduced from 'worrying' to 'scare'. So much so, that Marco has reappeared this morning on the green of Valdebebas to put on his boots and work alone. The terms of his recovery are shortened by leaps and bounds, but his presence at the Reale Arena on Sunday (9:00 p.m., Movistar Partidazo) remains unlikely.

In the air are also the shares of Isco and Reguilón. Both have been on the training mat for several sessions, but always alone, never with the group. The premise of caution with all players is almost a commandment in the white squad. The other side of the coin is still being put by Bale and Hazard, who completed another session inside the facilities and, six days after their league debut, they have not yet taken to the pitch or completed a single training session with the group. Lucas Vázquez, Jovic and Odegaard also stayed in the gym, with minor discomfort.

The routine on the green began with a series of warm-ups and stretches. The players then did exercises to control, drive and move the ball, with the goalkeepers already in their specific area. The training ended with centers and shots on goal. The physical load was reduced in order not to force the machinery. The team will return tomorrow for a training test against Getafe (12pm) at the Alfredo Di Stéfano. It will be the first and only 'friendly' this preseason.
