The twenty-third edition of the Andalusian Cup, which Unicaja and Coosur Real Betis were going to play this Tuesday at the José María Martín Carpena in Malaga, has been suspended when two positives were detected by COVID-19 in the Sevillian team.

The Malaga club, in a statement, announced the suspension of the match, which was set to start at 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday 8.

The Coosur Betis, for its part, also reported this Tuesday in a statement that it has detected two positive cases of COVID-19 among its professionals and for this reason, following all the protocols established by the health authorities, it has suspended both training morning as the subsequent trip to Malaga to play the Andalusian Cup, which will not finally be played today.

"Those affected are asymptomatic and in good health, and in the next few hours new tests will be carried out on all professionals to confirm or rule out said positives. Coosur Real Betis, strictly complying with the protocols established by the competent bodies, has extreme measures of isolation of all members of the group until the completion of the new tests and know the result of the same, "says the letter of the verdiblancos.
