Alonso, back to Enstone

The Asturian has stepped onto the Renault team facilities for the first time since his signing for the French team was announced.

There is less left to see Fernando Alonso return to Formula 1 and Renault is beginning to prepare for his arrival in the team for next season. First, by confirming its presence at the next Emilia Romagna GP at the Ímola circuit on November 1; later, leaving open the possibility that the Asturian participates in the Abu Dhabi tests at the end of the year and now, with his first visit to Enstone.

The Renault team (Alpine next season), through their social networks, has published a photo of the Asturian's arrival at the factory, accompanied by a welcome message: "Well dressed, back to Enstone to meet our engineering team! Welcome back, Alonso, let's start the preparation for 2021, shall we? " In the snapshot, you can see the two-time Formula 1 champion with Cyril Abiteboul, team manager of the French brand at the Great Circus.

This is Alonso's first contact with the team of engineers with whom he will share a box for at least the next two years. Despite his past at Renault, the years are unforgiving and many things have changed at Enstone. For this reason, the Spaniard has already been testing the simulator program that is in the factory with which, with all certainty, he will spend a lot of time in the coming months.
