Wolves would offer 45 million for Lucas Ocampos

The English club would look for an eventual replacement for Adama Traoré and think of the Argentine from Sevilla, his executioner in the Europa League. Lucas wants to play Champions.

Wolverhampton Wanderers has been interested in hiring Sevilla footballer Lucas Ocampos, reveals Sky Sports. Ocampos was precisely the executioner of Nuno's team in the quarterfinals of the Europa League that ended up lifting the Nervión team last Friday, after several days of competition in Germany.

The English club thinks of the Argentine as a possible replacement for the Spanish Adama Traoré, for whom there would be offers of more than 70 million euros. According to Sky, the Wolves are willing to invest 45 million in the winger, who has scored 17 goals this season as a Nervionense and cost 15 last summer, coming from Olympique de Marseille.

The capital gain would be 30 million, therefore, but it is not clear that Monchi is going to let the player go for that amount. Nor does it seem that Lucas wants to go to a footballer who next season is not going to play in a European competition, because in recent times he has shown his enthusiasm for playing the Champions League with Sevilla next season. Ocampos played injured against Manchester United and also against Inter. In both games he had to be substituted.
