The German Tony Martin renews with Jumbo-Visma until 2022

The powerful German cyclist, quadruple time trial world champion, will remain with the Dutch team to help Roglic, Dumoulin and Kruijswijk.

The Jumbo-Visma team announced this Wednesday a renewal that shines as much as if it were a great signing in the peloton. And it is that the German Tony Martin has extended his relationship with the Dutch squad for two more years so he will have a contract until 2022.

Martin, known in the peloton as 'Der Panzerwagen' (the Tank) and quadruple world time trial champion, has been a key player in the two seasons he has competed in the Jumbo-Visma, contributing to several of the team's successes without losing your skills as a specialist against the clock.

In this way, Primoz Roglic, Tom Dumoulin and Steven Kruijswijk ensure that they continue to have the German by their side, a cyclist capable of imposing rhythm on the flat to enlist the entire peloton and who hopes to continue helping their leaders on the big tours as well which will do so in 2020 in the Tour de France and the Giro d'Italia.
