Stage 1 of the Tour de France 2020: this is the general classification

Alexander Kristoff surprised the big favorites at the sprint to be furious for the first leader's jersey on a day marked by rain and falls.


The first stage of the 2020 Tour de France was wet. An abundant rain punished the riders practically from the start, so the wear at this start of Grande Boucle has been considerable. Despite the adverse weather, the forecasts were fulfilled and the outcome was the sprint, with the triumph of Alexander Kristoff, who beat Mads Pedersen and Cees Bol in the final meters.
