Sevilla will play the European Super Cup against Bayern or PSG

With their victory in the Europa League final, Sevilla will be present at the next edition of the European Super Cup in Budapest (Hungary) on September 24.

Sevilla will play the next edition of the European Super Cup against the champion of the 'Champions', Bayern Munich or Paris Saint-Germain, after having won the right this Friday as a brand new champion of the Europa League, the sixth in its history.

Julen Lopetegui's team beat Inter Milan 3-2 and won the ticket to the final of a new continental title. The European Super Cup will be held on September 24 in Budapest (Hungary) and UEFA expects the public to witness the match.

It will be the sixth final for Sevilla, who have only been able to win one of the five they have played to date. The Nervión team won the 2006 edition with Juande Ramos on the bench in the final that played against FC Barcelona (0-3). The rest were lost to Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and AC Milan.

In the event of a Bayern victory, it would be the first European Super Cup final between Germans and Spaniards since 1997 (Barça-Dortmund), while if PSG wins it will be the first in history between the French and a LaLiga team.
