Sergio García makes the pair to overcome the cut in the Wyndham

The Spaniard completed the second round of the Wyndham Championship this Friday with a 70-stroke card and added 137 (-3) which allows him to pass the cut.

The Spanish Sergio García completed this Friday the second round of the Wyndham Championship with a card of 70 strokes, the pair from the Sedgefield Country Club, and added 137 (-3) that gives him chances to overcome the cut. After the completion of the morning session, the cut is projected at -2, which gives the Spaniard enough headroom to be in the weekend's competition.

García, 40, 119 in the PGA Tour standings, started the day with two birdies. But in the third he lost everything he won by committing a double 'bogey' due to his poor teeing off at hole three and his long strokes did not help him reach the green in good condition. He recovered in the fourth with another birdie to end the first half with par on the following holes. In the second, the story was very different, since he started it with two 'bogeys' and saved the pair with the 'birdie' that reached the 17th hole. The tournament distributes prizes of 6.4 million dollars.
