Real Madrid, close to selling Miguel Baeza to Celta

According to Libertad Digital, the exit of Castilla (20 years) would leave 3 million in cash. The white club would keep 50% of its rights.

Miguel Baeza, Castilla de Raúl player, is very close to being sold to Celta de Vigo, as reported by Libertad Digital. According to this information, the white club would have an agreement with the Vigo entity for 3 million euros. For that amount, the Galician team would buy 50% of the rights of the footballer, a highly talented midfielder who is 20 years old.

In this way, Madrid would keep the other half of the homegrown's property, who has been in Valdebebas for the last eight years. Baeza arrived at La Fábrica in 2012, integrating the Infantil B. From there he climbed to Castilla, with whom in 2019-20 he played 1,535 minutes in 26 days.

This operation is very similar to those that Madrid carried out in July with Levante by Dani Gómez and De Frutos. The granota club paid € 2.5M and € 5M, respectively, for 50% of the boys' rights.

This is becoming a common practice at the Bernabéu, since in June they already pocketed € 3M from the sale of half of Javi Sánchez's rights to Valladolid. Thus, Madrid intends to reduce as much as possible the impact of the economic crisis generated by the coronavirus.
