Official: Miguel Baeza leaves Madrid and goes to Celta until 2025

Both clubs have formalized the signing of the white youth squad. The last Real Madrid squad player to change the white shirt for the blue one was Agus.

Celta and Real Madrid have made the signing of Miguel Baeza official until 2025. The third incorporation of Celta for their new project comes directly from La Fábrica. The Vigo club and Real Madrid have closed the transfer of midfielder Miguel Baeza for 2.5 million euros. The merengue entity will keep 50% of the rights of the 20-year-old player from Córdoba.

You have to go back thirteen years, to the summer of 2007, to find the last footballer who changed the white shirt of the Real Madrid subsidiary for the blue one of the first Vigo team. It was the central Agus García. At that stage of economic and sporting hardship for Celta in the Second Division, the sports management was led by Ramón Martínez, who currently acts as deputy to the general manager of the Merengue club.

While the Celtic and Madrid leaders have been negotiating the agreement for Baeza in recent days, the U19 international has prepared at the Valdebebas Sports City, under the orders of Raúl González, the Youth League appointment that the white team will play this Sunday against Juventus.

Celta has planned that the versatile left-handed midfielder, who scored a new goal with Real Madrid Castilla in Segunda B last season, will immediately begin working under Óscar García at A Madroa. This reinforcement will be added to those of Renato Tapia and Álvaro Vadillo. The Peruvian pivot and the Andalusian winger were recruited at zero cost.
