Official: Enes Ünal, to Getafe

The Turkish striker, as AS advanced, becomes a new player for the Bordalás team for a payment of about ten million euros. It was owned by Villarreal.

Enes Ünal is now officially a Getafe player, as the Azulón club pays an amount close to ten million euros to Villarreal, as AS has been reporting throughout the week. The talented Turkish forward, just 23 years old, has spent the last season on loan at Valladolid, where he has been a regular starter, has scored eight goals and has provided two assists. The 'groguet' team paid € 14m to take over their services and now they receive € 9.5m fixed and another two in variables after just playing 31 matches in yellow.

The young attacker wanted to leave Villarreal this summer, due to the difficulty of winning a place in the eleven with men like Gerard Moreno or Paco Alcácer in the squad. Ünal wants to be a starter and that is why he is betting on Getafe, a team fully established in the formula of two forwards, whose battering rams are veterans. Both Ángel, Mata, and Jorge Molina are over thirty. The arrival of the Turk will bring freshness and, in addition, his style is consistent with that of Bordalás.

Villarreal, in addition, confident that the one who is already their former striker will definitely explode and become a top-level player, they have reserved a percentage of future sales if they end up leaving Getafe. The player is now ready to put himself at Bordalás' orders once the preseason begins. His new team will once again seek to finish among the best, after the final disappointment of the just concluded season.
