Luis León already wears his Spanish champion jersey

The Murcian, winner in Baeza last Sunday in the National Championship, will debut the jersey at the Tour de France, which begins this Saturday.

Luis León Sánchez continues to live new experiences at the age of 36. The Murcian discovered this Thursday what the jersey he will wear for a year is like, and which accredits him as champion of Spain after his sensational victory in Baeza last Sunday.

Astana published a video on their social networks in which Luisle can be seen on the team bus observing and trying on the jersey for the first time. The new skin of the Murcian runner consists of a white background, while at the chest and at the end of the sleeves is the Spanish flag. This design is very similar to the one carried during the last year by Alejandro Valverde.

At 36 years old, Luis León will wear the Spanish champion's jersey online for the first time after doing it four times in a time trial. Sánchez is already in Nice, waiting for the Tour de France to start this Saturday, where he will try to help Miguel Ángel López to get on the podium, and will also look for what would be his fifth stage victory at the Grande Boucle.
