Los Cármenes has a security certificate and awaits the concession

Granada continues to work with UEFA to be able to play the Europa League in Los Cármenes. The club has the security certificate and the City Council asks for peace of mind with the concession

Granada continues working to be able to play the Europa League in Los Cármenes and comply with all the requirements established by UEFA. It has already obtained the stadium's security certificate, but its conflict with the City Council over the administrative concession, a mandatory requirement for the continental body, continues. The Nasrid entity has said concession until October, but the negotiations to expand it continue to be unsuccessful.

The sports councilor of the Granada City Council, José Antonio Huertas, asked the fans for peace of mind, who asked the council for facilities for the club to obtain all the certificates in a season that will be historic for both the club and the city. “We have an agreement signed with Granada CF that ends in October. There is no problem so that both the preseason and the games that are going to start to be played in the League and in Europe are played in the Nuevo Los Cármenes ”, explained Huertas.

“You have to transmit tranquility, Granada will continue playing at Nuevo Los Cármenes. We have requests for technical reports from the secretary and the legal department of the City Council and based on that we will work and take steps ”, he finished explaining on the subject. But weeks go by and the club needs this concession to present it to UEFA and be able to play all European matches in its stadium.
