There are several teams interested in signing the striker, but Besiktas are showing greater interest as their manager Sergen Yalcin is the favorite. The Croatian is in the first position of the list of forwards that Yalcin wants.

The Turkish club will begin negotiations with Atlético if the directive of the mattress club does not accept the request to leave Kalinic free.

The Turkish club's goal is to close out Kalinic's signing ahead of the Champions League second-round knockout match against PAOK in Thessaloniki on the 25th of the month. If they cannot close it, they will trade for other options for this position.
