Johann Zarco, declared "fit"

The French rider has received the approval of the doctors and will be able to be part of the grid for the Grand Prix of Styria after his accident with Morbidelli.


French Johann Zarco (Ducati Desmosedici GP19) has been declared "fit" for the second day of practice of the MotoGP Styrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring circuit in Spielberg by the Championship Medical Commission.

Zarco, who will have to leave from the workshop street if he disputes Sunday's race to comply with the penalty imposed for his accident last weekend with the Italian Franco Morbidelli (Yamaha YZR M 1), had to undergo surgery to be intervened of a small scaphoid fracture in his right hand that forced him to wait at least 48 hours.

Once the deadline has expired, Johann Zarco has undergone the corresponding medical examination of the motorcycle world championship, which has declared him "fit" for the MotoGP Grand Prix of Styria.
