James, one step away from Everton

The Colombian, who has one year left on his contract with Madrid, is close to returning to Ancelotti's orders. The English club offers him a three-year contract.

James Rodríguez is one step away from leaving Madrid and heading to the Premier League. His destination would be Everton. In this way, the Colombian will close his stage at the white club, although he still had one more year on his contract. The main supporter of James' arrival at Everton is Carlo Ancelotti, with whom he reached his best level in Madrid. Under the Italian command, he played 46 games in the 2014-15 season, scored 17 goals and provided 18 assists. The English club offers a three-year contract to the Colombian midfielder.

Ancelotti and James have already met at Bayern in the 2017-18 season and will soon meet again in the Premier League. The Italian coach already tried his signing last season to take him to Naples, but Madrid closed the exit door, since the Italian club did not reach the financial pretensions of Madrid. This time the same will not happen and both are about to work together in England.

With the departure of James, Madrid loses a very talented footballer, but also the most media player on the squad. And is that the Colombian has more than 97 million followers on social networks: 46 million on Instagram, 33 million on Facebook and 18.6 million on Twitter.

James would arrive at Everton with a great experience behind him and after having played 388 games in the world elite, in which he scored 104 goals and gave 125 assists.
